Who, Me? I Didn't Do Anything Wrong

It's been a good couple of months for Juan Sebastian Veron. First you win a league championship playing for your childhood club, and now you get off scot-free after being accused of obtaining and Italian passport illegally. The ex-Argentine international was found not guilty today by a judge in Rome, he was potentially looking at a maximum of a year and a half in prison.

Even though Veron and former Lazio president Sergio Cragnotti walk away from this episode unscathed, the people in charge of getting Veron's papers in order were all declared guilty. Sounds about par for the course in Italy.
