Money For Nothing

Only a fool would think that FIFA were the only people making money off the World Cup, but not being a gambler, I never really knew how much bookmakers were taking in. Ladbrokes Plc, the largest betting company in the UK and largest retail bookmaker in the world, took in $34.2M from the Germany '06. It seems that as long as the English national team fails to live up to it's potential, Ladbrokes will be operating with a decent profit margin.
