On-loan Arsenal defeat Crystal Palace

Birmingham City came from behind to ruin Crystal Palace's perfect record, with a late goal from Sebastian Larrson in the extra time.

Palace went up early in the 11th minute after a shot from Jobi McAnuff took a deflection and crossed the line. Nicklas Bendtner equalized for City before halftime.

The performance by the youngsters, both on loan from Arsenal, was overshadowed by City captain Damien Johnson throwing a tantrum after being substituted for Mikael Forsell in the 79th minute. Johnson issued an apology on the Birmingham City FC website, claiming he mistook the supporters cheers as a desire to see him taken off the pitch.

City occupy the top of the Championship table with 10 points from 4 matches, even with Cardiff and a point above Crystal Palace.
