Race For The 2030 World Cup Begins

One hundred years after hosting and winning the 1930 World Cup, Uruguay has proposed a joint bid between themselves and Argentina. The Uruguayan FA made it public yesterday that they have already come to an initial agreement with Julio Grondona, the president of the Argentine FA.

But with the awarding of the hosting duties not set to take place until 2024, a little premature, no?
