Milan Sticks To Their Guns

Though it didn't quite work out for them last time out, Milan, having the choice to pick their kit colors for the Champions League final, have decided to go for the all-white combo. While one might think that wearing the same colors that saw them give up a 3-0 lead two years ago might not be the best move, UEFA gives us the low down on Milan's thought process:
Milan's preference for their white shirts stems from lifting five of their six European Champion Clubs' Cups in those colours. Their 'maglia fortunata' - lucky jerseys - were on show when they won finals against SL Benfica (1963 and 1990), FC Steaua Bucuresti (1989), FC Barcelona (1994) and Juventus (2003).
If your looking for a little history about Liverpool's color's, all five of their European Cup-winning sides have worn red against teams in white.
