The Kid Stays In The Picture

After being in doubt for tomorrow's match against Lille, Manchester United's Wayne Rooney has been passed fit. A scan on his right knee has revealed no damage, leaving him available for selection against the Ligue 1 crybabies.

This is great news for United fans who will be without Henrik Larsson after this weekend's FA Cup match against Middlesbrough. With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sidelined for three weeks following knee surgery and Alan Smith not yet back to full fitness, the last thing United needs is to lose Rooney for any length of time.

I write a football based blog http://in-the-mixer.blogspot.com in which I write articles on a range of football related subjects. I was wondering whether you might consider glancing at my site and if you like my articles, maybe posting a link to me on your excellent blog. Of course, I’d be happy to return the favour! I try and add to my site whenever I have time between work commitments and am trying to get a few more people to glance at it.

Thanks and best wishes
