BL and I have had this conversation many times since the World Cup: England doesn't work when you have Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard in the same midfield. Steve McClaren has to pick one, and, without a doubt, that should be the Liverpool man. It's the only way they'll have anything resembling a balanced midfield.Time to drop Lampard [BBC]
