If you're lucky enough to get ESPN Deportes, you had a cracker of a game, filled with niggling fouls, pre-game dramatics and the ever-present Ivorian striker. I wonder if Jose Mourinho had anything to say. Edmilson had the best quote of the week, I think. To think that I could've seen this one instead of Bayern Munich v. Sporting or Liverpool v. Bordeaux. Thanks Setanta and ESPN. [Guardian, the Sun]
Are Arsenal too stylish in their lack of goals. Gabby Logan seems to think so. [Times]
Thank god. So Benitez decides that 100 is the magic number and fields the same team for the first time in as many games. Now we can stop talking about it, or a bit less at least. [Guardian]
I didn't know they still served scrumpy. Another reason to hate Cristiano Ronaldo? I wonder why those Brit women like the continentals so much. [Mirror]

Oh man, Barca v Chelsea was not a match to sooth the soul. I think fans of both teams came out steaming mad. Chelsea fans are probably complaining more about the diving, and we're complaining more about the thuggery (and the diving), but yeah, not fun.
However, that Edmilson quote is brilliance itself. Sums up exactly how I feel. Thank God that's over with.
i think that both teams shoudl shut up and play the game .. they both went there to look for trouble, not to play football .. there were times when they did some excellen stuff, but most the times they were lookign to dive or hit some one or something like that ..
