Quick Hits: From Our Side Of The Atlantic

Juan Sebastian Veron couldn't help Estudiantes yesterday against a fast, attacking Boca Juniors. Boca won the game 2-0, with goals from Rodrigo Palacio(11') and Martin Palermo(71'). The top of the table clash in Argentina's Torneo Apertura left Boca with a perfect record after five games and dropped Estudiantes to sixth place, six points off the pace. Estudiantes hope to overturn their two-game losing streak at home next Friday against Banfield. On Sunday, Boca take the short trip south to take on Gimnasia La Plata. [ESPN Soccernet]
