An Inspired Palacio Saves Boca

Boca Juniors came back from a goal down tonight to beat Sao Paulo 2-1 in the first leg of the Recopa Sudamericana. Boca forward Rodrigo Palacio scored twice (53', 73') to cancel out Thiago's first half strike (30'). Boca hope to make the one-goal advantage hold up next week when the return leg is played in front of 75,000 at Sao Paulo's Estadio do Morumbi.

What ever the result next Thursday, Boca fans will know that when the big guy up stairs comes calling, they and Diego will be resting comfortably throughout eternity. If they're lucky, the famous #10 might even kick in the $500 to $900 each plot goes for.
