It turns out that the FA and the Premier League are teaming up to investigate Leeds United chairman Ken Bates' accusation that Chelsea made illegal approaches to three Leeds academy players, Michael Woods, Tom Taiwo and Danny Rose.
Woods and Taiwo moved to the club, but Rose elected to stay at Leeds. Bates has previously asked for $40.8M for the two youngsters, claiming, ''We're asking for £24 million. They paid £16 million for the Nigerian kid (John Obi Mikel).''
Bates stoked the flames surrounding this accusation, by claiming Chelsea were a bunch of "Siberian shysters". Chelsea responded by accusing Bates' comments as being anti-Semitic, to which he responded, "I haven't laughed so much since Ma got her tits caught in a mangle."
