The Grab: 04.09

Gratuitous half-naked girl: Hollyoaks star reveals (shock!) that she likes to strip for Cristiano Ronaldo. I suppose if you're running as much as he is, you'd be too tired to undress your soap-star girlfriend. [News of the World]

The only Premiership keeper to garner enough yellow cards to warrant a suspension this season, Jens Lehmann, the 37-year old German international, would like to ink a two-year deal with the Gunners. Could we see Arsene Wenger reverse his rule of signing players of his age to only one year contracts? The way Arsenal's heading into the last games of the season (especially losing for the first time at home to league bottom-feeders West Ham), it might be wise to give the hotheaded German an extra year while he sorts out what's going on with the other 10. [ITN, Times]

The Special One can't resist taking a pop at Sir Alex's Manchester United after the league-leaders' loss to Pompey (who promptly lost relagation-bound Watford today). Kudos to the Mourinho for picking the most inopportune times to be himself, considering his side had to rely on Ricardo Carvalho to score to edge past Spurs. His quotes are even funnier on TV, where I swear he uses the word "lucky" in reference to Man U about seventeen times. [Scotsman]

For you fans out there who can't move to DirecTV or ITVN, the Gaffer over at EPL Talk reveals that Setanta is in talks with DISH and Comcast over making the channel available, perhaps by the beginning of the 2007-2008 EPL season. And, a podcast with the founder of SoccerTV, Oliver Tse. [EPL Talk Premeirship Blog]
