Well, I Guess Somebody Had To Say It

Robert Duverne, Lyon's fitness coach, told French daily Le Monde that the pressure put on players these days forces them and their clubs to at least entertain the possibility of doping up. Also the fitness guru for Raymond Domenich's national team side, Duverne has this to say:
The match calendar makes doping inevitable. Television imposes too much soccer on the player, putting the game up alongside cycling. It gets more complicated each time a player has to recuperate after a tough match, that's what brings about doping. You're playing two games a week, and that's just not humanly possible.
Raise your hand if you think that a couple of Lyon's players will have to pee in a cup after the Roma match tomorrow.
