Isn't That What They Told Les Reed?

Didier Deschamps received a vote of confidence from Juventus today after two days of press reports claiming that the players didn't have faith in him anymore. While David Trezeguet came out yesterday dismissing the story as pure rumor, speculation persists.

Nonetheless, after letting Didi dangle for a couple of days, club director director Jean Claude Blanc came out today for the first time to publicly back the former Frence international. Money quote:
We have the utmost faith in our coach and he is doing an excellent job. We started this project with him in August and, speaking with the Board of Directors, it will continue next season as well.
We'll just have to wait and see what happens, though I'd venture to guess that getting the Bianconeri back in Serie A is no guarantee of holding on to your job. What's Marcello Lippi up to these days?
