The Grab: Monday 11.06.06
Becks watch: The notion of Becks and his skeletal, ass-less missus coming to LA only makes me vomit because I can imagine TomKat making pitiful conversation with VB, as they're secretely seduced by Scientology. No, that's not the only reason, but it's the only one I can think of that isn't filled with expletives. [ITV]
Sore Losers? It's the Arsenal way, but it was nice to see Wenger spit a "F*ck off!" at Alan Pardew, though deserving of a win the long-suffering Hammers gaffer may be. And Teddy Sheringham's dismissal of young Fabregas shows you why he's the man in the UK. It can't really be denied that Arsenal are the least bit unsporting when confronted with losses, from TH14 grumbling after the CL final to Wenger's general myopia. Is it me or is the Frenchman showing a lot more emotion than usual? Watch it here, courtesy of the Soccer Weblog.

Fat Freddy has outlasted his stay at St. James' Park. How has this guy stayed in charge for so long, and more importantly, how have Newcastle managed to cock-up their chances year after year, despite their big-club status? Is Glenn Roeder the new Alan Pardew?
[Times Online, BBC Sport]
Alan Pardew can look over the hedge sympathetically as Paul Le Guen finds himself in a desperate spot in the SPL. Rangers find themselves looking at a 15-point gap betwen them and league leaders Celtic, but skipper Ferguson thinks they have a chance.

And, lest we forget, congrats Sir Lord Fergie; as a Gooner, I think that's what separates you from Arsene Wenger. Both genuises in my mind, but the Scotsman possesses a greater ability to lose, and it shows. The Gaffer over at EPL talk comments and gives us an update on his upcoming EPL Tour.. [EPL Talk]
