The Grab: 11.28.2006

I'm trying to ignore the realities brought to light by Arsene Wenger, and focus on the (mis)fortunes of others. Think Sheva's tired of the British press yet? Gabriele Marcotti tells us it's too early to tell if the Ukrainian is a legitimate bust. [Guardian, Telegraph, SI.com]

So Bayern Munich wants to leave the G14, and to really show how serious they are, KHR decides to launch into Abramovich. Gutsy move for a club that should feel lucky to be there. Then again, I did see the hefty catalog of Bayern Munich merchandise on AC's coffeetable, so apparently they can generate the cash [Monsters and Critics, FC Bayern Munchen]

Half-hearted Becks-watch: Thank god I know what to get for him now. Hope he gets thousands of them in the mail. [New Zealand Herald]

A little piece on Tomas Rosicky. Also seen on an EPL Preview show, awkwardly sipping borscht or whatever it is they sup over in Eastern Europe. [UEFA]
