Canadian (I love pointing that out) Owen Hargreaves took a studs-first challenge today in Bayern Munich's loss to Arminia Bielefeld. It is feared that Fergie's wet dream has broken his left fibula, an injury that could keep him out for some time. More should be known about the extent of the injury within the next couple of days.
Does this mean that the deal to bring Hargreaves to Old Trafford during the January transfer window is off now? Steve McClaren can't be happy about this either, his second-best midfielder (after Gerrard) will now mostly likely miss out on the Euro qualifiers against Macedonia and Croatia in October. Keep in mind that Joe Cole might not be fit by then either.
