Could US Soccer Really Be This Adventurous?

If this news report is true, than Jose Pekerman has already been interviewed for the job of U.S. national team boss. I for one would be in favor of Pekerman taking over not only the senior team post, but also laying out a national team system that would allow the youth teams to develop talent in a professional manner. Our youth teams have performed admirably at international tournaments in the past, but that has not translated to consistent senior team success.

If anything, as Andrea Canales points out, Pekerman is renown for developing young players into solid, capable older players. As is well documented, some of his players have even turned into superstars on the world stage.
