FIFA's Club World Cup later this year after winning their first
Copa Libertadores trophy. They beat defending champion Sao Paulo
4-3 on aggregate after a tense 2-2 draw at home in the second leg. The Brazilians joined qualifiers Barcelona, Club America (Mexico), and Auckland City FC (New Zealand). They will be looking to get past a minnow in the semifinals to set up a tasty intercontinental final against the European champions on December 17th in Yokohama, Japan.
